Okay, another day done. Woke up bright and early to the boys fighting yet again. One of these days they will figure out how to get along, I hope. Tomorrow Blake has to have tubes put in his ears yet again. Is he worried about it? No, other than, "What if I starve?" since he isn't able to eat from midnight tonight until around 10 am or 11 am tomorrow morning. Oh, and I forgot! He is mad at me because I told him he has to sit out of football practice for two days. Poor kid. I had to email the football coach to let him know what was going on so that Blake would stop worrying that he wouldn't get picked for the team because of missing tomorrow and Thursday.

I think I will work on getting my living room organized and see what I can post on Ebay tomorrow, while he is recovering. One of these days I will be able to work long enough to get the whole house cleaned up and organized. Of course, by then, I will probably have found a place to move to, knowing my luck. So far I am still struggling to find a job that is good enough to make ends meet so that the boys and I can live on our own, but I know that day will come, hopefully sooner rather than later.

Well I guess that's it for tonight, I will let you all know how Blake's surgeries went when I post tomorrow night. Until then, I'd like to leave you with this thought:

Introductions-Sept. 21, 2009, Thursday

Okay, I guess the first place to start is to tell you a bit about myself, and my family. My name is Amy, hence the title, "Amy's Insights" lol. I was born in 1973 and adopted right away. When I was little, I was sick a lot. Ear infections, pneumonia, colds. Because of that, I was older than other kids in my classes throughout school. When I was 15, we found out that I was born without the indentation in my knees where my knee caps should fit into the other leg bone, so I had to have surgery on both legs. Growing up, I had so many ear problems that I have lost a good deal of my hearing, but not as much as doctors thought I would have by now. Ok, now on to present day. I have recently been diagnosed with scoliosis and a degenerating spine, add that to the hearing loss, knee problems, asthma, bad eyesight, and ankle problems and what a mess I am, lol. I have been married since October 5th, 1996. I have two boys, CJ, who will be 14 in October, and Blake, who turns 13 in November. They are a joy and a tribulation all at once! Their dad's name is Myron, and while you read my blogs from day to day, I hope to show you a bit of our lives. Feel free to comment or give advice, or if you learn something useful, I'd love to know about it!
